ऊखीमठ- सरकार द्वारा एकाएक केदारनाथ धाम के कपाट खुलने की तारीख में बदलाव करने से केदारघाटी में जहाँ तीर्थ पुरोहितों में रोष था तो वहीं पुजारी भी असमंजस की स्थिति में थे। ऐसे में आज केदारनाथ के शीतकालीन गद्दी स्थल ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर ऊखीमठ में कपाट खुलने की पुन: तारीख घोषित हुई है। कोरोना वायरस को लेकर बाबा केदारनाथ मंदिर के कपाट खुलने की तारीख में सरकार द्वारा बदलाव कर 14 मई को घोषित किया था।
यह केदारनाथ यात्रा के ज्ञात इतिहास में पहली बार हुआ था जब महाशिवरात्रि के दिन केदारनाथ के कपाट खुलने की तारीख में बदलाव किया गया हूं इससे न केवल तीर्थ पुरोहित और पंडा समाज नाखुश थे बल्कि केदारनाथ के रावल व पुजारी भी असमंजस की स्थिति में थे। जिस कारण आज केदारनाथ के मुख्य रावल के निर्देशों के अनुसार मंदिर समिति के मुख्य कार्याधिकारी बीडी सिंह तीर्थ पुरोहित समाज के प्रतिनिधि गण व स्थानीय हक हकूक धारियों की मौजूदगी में गहन विचार विमर्श किया गया और यह निर्णय लिया कि केदारनाथ के कपाट पूर्व में ताई तारीख 29 अप्रैल को ही खोले जाएंगे। केदारनाथ यात्रा के अब के इतिहास में कभी भी धार्मिक परम्पराओं से छेड़छाड़ नहीं किया गया है। हालांकि वर्तमान परिस्थितियों के अनुसार सरकार द्वारा ही हो निर्णय लिया गया था लेकिन अगर केदारनाथ के कपाट ज्योतिषी गणना के आधार पर नहीं तिथि को भी खोले जाते तो केदारनाथ के साथ-साथ मद्महेश्वर और तुंगनाथ के कपाट खुलने की तिथि में भी बदलाव किया जाना अति आवश्यक था।
