लालकुआं पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एवं लालकुआं से कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी हरीश रावत खड़कपुर के ग्राम प्रधान शंकर जोशी के आवास पर पहुंचे और कार्यकर्ताओं से मुलाकात की इस दौरान उन्होंने सूक्ष्म जलपान भी किया बाद में पत्रकारों से वार्ता करते हुए कहा कि परिवर्तन की लहर चल रही है और इस बार उत्तराखंड के साथ-साथ यूपी में भी परिवर्तन होना तय है और विकास के एजेंडे को और सबको साथ लेकर चलने की रणनीति पर काम करते हुए कांग्रेस आगे बढ़ेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जो लोग अब की बार 60 पार का नारा दे रहे हैं उन्हें तड़ीपार किया जाएगा।
